It can be difficult buying a designer bag these day. With the proliferation of on line sites selling fakes as authentic and unscrupulous salespeople. With all the designer knock-offs being called “authentic” it’s easy to be misguided into spending way too much money for a fake without knowing it.
There is a difference between buying a designer knock-off and knowing it and being told you’re buying the actual bag when it’s not.
When you see that Chloe python Silverado bag on i offer you are told it is 7 star quality and mirror image up front, that’s honest salesmanship. I don’t see a problem with knowingly buying a designer knock off. However, watch these knock-offs too. There are many different qualities. Some will sell an inferior quality knock-off bag for much more than it’s worth. I saw a seller on i offer who offered the same exact bag for two very different prices. When I questioned her as to why the same exact bag was being sold for two different prices her reply was that she had to “fix” her description. Hmmmmm. I have also noticed nothing in the description of these bags has changed. I wonder how many people have unwittingly paid for the more expensive of the two bags. Investigate before you buy.
Know the old sayings “if it’s too good to be true it probably is” and “you get what you pay for” hold true. You can be assured that lovely Fendi Spy Bag on that online auction, the one starting at $249.00, the one with the bright yellow Fendi tag is not the real thing. No one would offer an authentic Fendi Spy Bag for $249.00.
Who you’re purchasing the bag from is of utmost importance. You can be guaranteed that when purchasing that Prada bag from Nieman Marcus or that Gucci from Bergdorf Goodman you’re getting an authentic bag, although perhaps not a deal. Check the e-luxury site. Louis Vuitton is one of the actual owners of the e-luxury site. Purchase your Coach bag from their online site. Needless to say authenticity is guaranteed.
Before purchasing a bag on e bay visit their Community Chat Room. There is a wealth of information on how to detect counterfeit bags. Even an e bay “powerseller” can be offering fake bags. When e bay is alerted about a particular seller it may take them some time to investigate. During the time it takes for the investigation the seller could have sold many counterfeit bags. E bay has shut down dealers selling counterfeit bags, but even e bay cannot protect you from all the unscrupulous sellers out there.
Some buyers take their bags to stores like Nieman Marcus or Lord & Taylor to have them authenticated AFTER they purchase them. These department stores will not give a written authentication on a particular bag, but the salesperson will probably tell you whether or not they think the bag is authentic. Don’t purchase a bag from anyone without a money back guarantee - ever. If they don’t offer a money back guarantee you can be assured the bag isn’t authentic. Even if it’s the bag of your dreams don’t buy it. There will be another one.
Don’t be fooled thinking that only authentic bags have holograms and serial numbers. Those that make their money producing knock off bags are on their toes and keep up with any changes made in authentic bags. Even more importantly, when you see a bag for sale anywhere, do you really know what the hologram should look like? Do you know if the serial number should be on a separate metal plate or embossed inside the bag? Should the name Gucci also seen imprinted on the hardware on an authentic bag?
The best way to protect yourself when making ANY purchase is to educate yourself.

The downturn in the economy has made us rethink our fashion statements. been well commented that the recession has heavily affected the fashion industry. Although downturns in the economy come and go, this current one we’re experiencing is going to have a long-term effect on how we see fashion. We are living in a very pragmatic period now. Before these practical times, we delighted in the frivolity of fashion - nothing was extreme or too overpriced - you only worried about being accused of being too dreary. It’s different today though : the fashion catwalks and labels are getting bad publicity. Even looking at the the mid-range fashion labels, suddenly they’re admonished for manufacturing in overseas sweatshop factories. Is it that everybody suddenly become so very difficult to please now?
Firstly, fashion is very much alive and always will be. As a matter of fact, looking on the internet there is huge competition between online shop traders (e.g. looking for fashion for women) - a sign there is still strong demand and supply. It’s the old way we considered that is expiring - of being dictated to by the established fashiong brands. In reality, fashion has always followed the public instead of vice versa, and nowadays many matters are stopping us buying from big fashion labels. For a start, people are now very much more conscious of globalization, and showing off your clothing labels makes you look selfish and uncaring in certain circles. Second, it’s the economy, stupid! Style has forever been a luxury, not an essential. In an economic downturn, non-essential items are the first to be forgotten on the shop shelves. Lastly, individuals define themselves much more individually nowadays - peer groups are a lot more tightly knit, we no longer see ourselves as being part of large groups, and fashion demands that type of herd-like thinking to sell in numbers.
How does the future look for fashion labels? Like ever, they need to change to survive - create a larger range of clothing lines to supply to more corners of the marketplace. If you’re a small store offering unique fashion lines at an affordable cost, you have a strong business model in spite of the dreary economic months we are experiencing. These days, people are mixing their styles, buying from marketplaces and smaller, affordable fashion shops.

Injuries are always possible when playing football. Before fabrics were made to expand over padding and absorb sweat, some Football Uniforms Football Uniforms were worn so loosely to accommodate the padding that they became a hindrance to play. I remember seeing Football Uniform Football Uniforms jerseys tucked into pants and when active play was taking place they would come loose and get caught on other players equipment or the ball. This caused sprains and strains since the fabric had little or no give, and players bodies were twisted as jerseys were yanked in the opposite direction of the way the player was traveling. It has been a long time since a player was injured because of the football uniform they were wearing. Manufacturers take great care in assuring that the fabrics used in creating football uniforms Football Uniforms are continually tested and updated. Today, football uniform jerseys are made to conform comfortably to the body and return to their original shape when grabbed or pulled. There is little chance that a player will get caught in a garment when they grab the ball or run down the field. And, padding under the football uniform will stay in place because the uniform adheres to the padding more tightly making injury by shifting padding less likely to occur.

graduation cap and gown
During graduation ceremonies, the graduates wear traditional regalia which include a graduation cap and gown. Graduation ceremonies have been conducted since the early 13th century and are seen as a rite of passage for the students as well as a celebration of the students’ academic achievements. Graduation caps and gowns were initially made of black cloth and in only one design. In recent times this has changed in that a graduation cap and gown can have other colors alongside the traditional black. Some may have other colors altogether. Academic institutions give their students the specific details such as the materials that the caps and gowns that should be made of.
In addition, they specify the colors of the caps and gowns in keeping with their tradition. The academic institutions can provide the students with the gowns for the graduation ceremony after which they are returned. Some institutions however do not provide their students with the regalia so that the students have to purchase their own regalia. In this case therefore one should ensure that the caps and gowns are made from quality long lasting material. In addition, they should ensure that the graduation cap and gown are obtained at the most affordable cost. Alternatively they can hire the caps and gowns for the graduation ceremony.

One of the most usual grounds for wearing specs is myopia
shortsightedness, or shortsightedness, is a situation in which objects a long way away are blurred either due to the fact that the eyeball is overly long or overly strong. It is the upshot of both environmental and familial factors.
How nearsighted you are is determined by how badly working the cornea and lens of the eye are - as well as how long your eye balls are! Normally, the eye processes a visual light image by interpreting the light signals and transmitting them into electrical signals in the retina. If the eyes focus the light ahead of time, you are myopic.
Generally, myopia gets better with age. It is not clear why this happens buy may well be something to do with the aging process. The thinking is that they lens becomes weaker or stiffer with age and doesn’t focus the light so quickly. Eventually, the light rays may even focus on the retina!.
Overall, 25 percent of those living in the United States are nearsighted.
Using a variety of techniques, trained ophthalmic opticians can assess whether or not a child is able to focus clearly. They use play, retinoscopy and refraction to help them do this carefully.
To assess the specific nature of your shortsightedness, specific tests will need to be carried out to look at how well your eyes can focus on nearby as well as far away targets. Your eye movements will also be assessed as might your retina.
The optician may deliberately choose to dilate a child’s pupils to prevent their natural tendency to over focus confuse the prescription generation process. .
If you have myopia, you will need to have glasses prescribed. If your child has been diagnosed with myopia and are under 4, then they may get away with not wearing glasses unless their vision is particularly bad.
Once a child starts school, then being able to focus on the board becomes important for learning, etc. So they should be regularly assessed for the need to wear specs or the need to change their prescription.
The glasses are then usually worn full time, except for children with difficulty with convergence (esophoria), who may remove their spectacles for close work.
