Everyone enjoys a wonderful Halloween fete. Not only are Halloween parties great for youngsters, but it is the one occasion where grownups are free to dress up and get creative too. Celebs, like Hugh Hefner and Heidi Klum, have become infamous for their annual Halloween bashes where celebs have come decked out in outrageous costumes including Adam and Eve, Medusa, the Queen of Hearts, and many more! There are plenty of halloween party ideas for grownups also! Since costumes make up the essential element of decoration at every successful Halloween party, it is important that everyone comes dressed up in their craziest costumes and are prepared to have a fantastic time!
Transform your shed into a haunted house. Having your shed adorned as a haunted house is a terrific way to engage your friends with the theme of the party and will set the mood for the celebration. Having a costume contest at your Halloween celebration will ensure that everyone dresses in costume and will supply an extra bonus for your guests to think up with playful, imaginative costumes to wear to your celebration. Because your friends are all going to be dressed in costumes, they will desire a memorable way to commemorate their evening. Set up a photo booth at your Halloween party and have guests snap a photo as they arrive.
A witch is not quite as marvelous without her broom. If you have enough party room, coordinate broom races for your witches-in-training.
You’ll either require a large room (think finished basement or living room with the furniture cleared to side) or if it’s a nice, sunny October day, have your broom races on the lawn.Be sure you have at least one broom per party guest. Fortunately, you probably have at least one or two in the house and you can purchase the rest at a dollar shop. You can even request that each witch BYOB… Bring Your Own Broom (but don’t forget to send it back home with her).

Avoiding Traps part 2 By B. Butler Against more predictably rocky poker players, it can be more illuminating to bet when you are unsure. The rocky poker online player is going to fold when he doesn’t have it more often than not, and if he has you beat he will check raise. Giving a free card can complete too many hands for these players, and give them room to bet when the river comes a scare regardless. With aggressive players at Everest Poker, they are always looking for spots to raise or bet. If you check behind, they will see that as a sign that they can try to bet on the next street to take it down. If you think you are capable of handling heat from them, and actually want them to be firing into you, then you can check behind and let them fire bullets they might have kept to themselves if you had simply bet out before, giving you credit. A lot of this is about table image, yours and your opponents. If an aggressive player thinks you are tight and not strong in the hand, he will try to come after you. Letting him do that when you do have it is good. If a weak player doesn’t have it, he’s likely not going to put any more money in. Might as well take it from him without giving him the chance to pick up the pot with a free card.

Poker players often misconstrue the value of suited connectors - consecutive cards of the same suit, such as 7h-8h. These hands offer the potential for a straight or flush, but are also speculative cards that depend on the flop for any real strength.
When you get dealt suited connectors, keep these tips in mind:
* As with any poker online hand, higher ranked cards are better than smaller ones. K-Q suited could finish as high pair and best kicker, whereas 2-3 suited is easily beat by higher cards.
* Since suited connectors are speculative at best, those of medium or low rank should only be played from late position when there are limpers ahead of you.
* Suited connectors as starting hands most often flop draws instead of made hands. Can you continue betting on the draw if it materializes?
* Remember, small suited connectors make small flushes. If the board brings three cards to the suit, there is always the possibility a better flush will ambush your poker online hand. Small flushes can cost a lot chips, so be cautious. If a fourth card to the suit hits on the turn or river, your small flush is vulnerable to defeat.
* If a straight does shape up, be alert to whether your hand hits the high or low end of it. It’s quite possible the connected cards might give another player a higher straight.
* When your connectors are in the middle of the straight, i.e. 7-8 with a board that reads 5-6-9, then your hand has more strength than one that completes at the low end of open-ended draw.

Poker players try to outsmart their opponents by laying traps meant to give the aggressor the edge and put the trapped player at a disadvantage. Obviously that’s a significant part of poker strategy. However, not every trap works for every player. To execute a successful trapping strategy, you must recognize the styles of all your adversaries at the table.
The check-raise is a classic trap in poker games in which the aggressor looks passive by checking so that another player will bet so the trapper can then raise. It is a deceptive tactic, considered despicable by some, but a permissible maneuver at most poker online games. However, the check-raise can fall flat too if one’s intended victim does not fall for the ploy. To trap with a check-raise, you have to reasonably confident that your opponent (or opponents) behind you will actually bet. If they are passive players, they are more likely to check too. A check-raise only works on those players who take the aggressive initiative to bet first after a check.
Isolating a player is also another trapping mechanism. It entails making a big raise behind a player who has bet in order to get the other players to fold and set up a heads-up scenario with a strong hand. But for the trap to work, then all the other players have to cooperate too. You have to be sure that they will respect your raise and fold their hands as intended. If the other players are loose aggressive types, then you might find yourself with tougher multi-way action that is harder to win.
A trap only works well if its intended prey falls into it. Know your opponents before trying to execute tricky trapping moves.

Online grinders are faced with a series of big decisions. One of the biggest is to know how much of your life to devote to this online poker variety. Some grinders take the perspective that online poker is their full time job. This means that it should take forty hours a week, every single week of the year. They try to be at their computer at a decent hour in the morning, take regular breaks; basically they function exactly the same way that they would if they were working in an office. Other people tend to take a profit based approach. They argue that because you can earn more at online poker than your average nine to five job, there is no need to grind on a regular schedule. These people just grind whenever they feel like it. The problem, of course, with this lack of structure is that it does not really take the game seriously. Online poker grinding is a serious business. I would strongly suggest that you avoid this kind of loose approach to the game and really dedicate some time to the process. A poker online grinder should be spending at least eight hours a day playing poker. Anything less and you are not really a grinder.

There are so many things to study in your poker online opponent. The body is a full on indicator of what is going through the brain. The more you can pick up on physically from a person in their method, the more you will know about what is behind their cards. This is a secret to playing outside the numbers and the math.
In particular, a online poker player’s breathing is a huge indicator of how he’s feeling. How the chest moves, the cheeks, the rhythm of the veins in the neck, whether the mouth is open or closed. The shape of the nostrils and the air. When a player is breathing hard he is excited, adrenaline is moving.
Often, when a player’s body is active, this means they are bluffing. This is not always the case, but if they are nervous, there is something at stakes. With bigger hands, the hands will shake too, but there is also, in more refined players, a resolve that only might shake when they have nothing. A big hand often allows confidence. Etc.
Studying these kinds of reads with the pattern of your opponent prior plays can add a lot of context to your major decisions, and in the end result in your getting paid at the casino online.

Texas Hold ‘Em poker online players use different strategies to confuse and deceive their opponents at the table. A somewhat puzzling tactic has become more popular lately, and may seem strange to those with less experience playing poker. The player who is first to act post-flop declares “check dark” before the first online poker card materializes on board. What is “checking in the dark” and what purpose does it serve? The online poker player who is first to act after the flop is on the spot to reveal information before any other players do.. Being first to act can be risky since the flop can bring anything. By “checking in the dark” the player has eliminated the burden of revealing anything about the hand, be it good or bad. Often it’s the small blind if that player called the big blind to remain in the hand. If the action had been raised pre-flop, then whoever remains left to the button is first to act. Checking in the dark is basically a passive/aggressive technique. It foists the onus of having to make a move onto the players betting behind the checker. It is useful in both heads-up play and multi-player rounds. When a player checks in the dark, there is no way to determine the strength of that hidden hand, and the checker has postponed making a decision. Checking in the dark is a way to disguise a hand, and reserve the right to act later in the betting rather than being first.

Among the gamut of online poker shows on television, it takes a show with a unique format to stand out among the crowd. ‘Poker After Dark’ is successful in this way, in that it is the only show that operates on a nightly broadcast structure, showing a single 6-seated casino online tournament over five one hour broadcasts from Monday to Friday, with a winner take all format. This allows them to have an ever changing roster of players and a more varied array of play, instead of longer formatted shows that play out over a long time.
The betting structure of ‘Poker After Dark’ is also nice in that the blinds do not escalate so quickly that it becomes a rat race among theonline poker players (such as would often happen on the Poker Superstars series). There are large enough stacks and enough time in blind periods that there is a decent amount of play at each level. Also nice is their recent addition of the Poker After Dark cash game, which is essentially modeled after the High Stakes Poker model, and features many of the same players from the regular season of events, including players like Phil Hellmuth, Tom Dwan, Sam Farha, Doyle Brunson, Phil Laak, and many other of the game’s best.
